With proper consultation and education on the ease ( or non-ease) of your new do, let me be the one to give you a fresh new look that will give you a "spring" in your step.I'm all about giving each guest an individual look that suits their face, lifestyle, and commitment, but here are some of the top "trends" for 2023. Let's talk next time you're in and see if trendy vs practical go hand in hand. The top trendiest haircut names and what they mean!Don't worry, I too was a bit confused with some of these names. Just like everything in fashion, it comes back around, rebranded with a new name... Such as a "belt bag" which everyone from my generation knows as the fanny bag..Let's break em down!BUTTERFLY HAIRCUTThe butterfly haircut has a '70s flair. Who doesn't know the iconic Farrah hair?! With shorter layers on top, blended into a series of longer layers to deliver movement and textureFor so many years, we all were so afraid of short to long layers for our long(ish) hairstyles and now... it's back and sexy. I personally Love this look but it does take stylingCHEEKBONE BOBComing from my favorite decade, the 20s! Flapper girls have never gone out of style to me. A nice blunt line hitting right around the cheekbone can really freshen up a woman's look. Style straight for that sleek chic look or add some flat iron curls for a fun sassy feel.Add in blunt bags, this is one of my favorite looksCUB CUTInspired by the '90s grunge look, this cut is more manageable than last year's wolf cut (Which I will get too also) . Cutting in messy, razored-out ends, this is a cross between a bob and a shag. Really easy to style with the right products, making summer eazy breezy, and fun.LONG SHAGLayers that aren't too short or too long... in between making this the "just right" haircut for my thick long haired girls that have wavy. Beach waves and texture give this look its current state of mind... Gorgeous!MULLETShout out to my son who really wanted this! He wanted to be "original", I hate to tell him every boy I knew had it growing up and as I look around, more and more are popping up. My only rule: If you wore it once, long ago.. you probably shouldn't be wearing it again...WOLF CUTA shag for curly hair. This no-nonsense cut is easy, messy, and carefree. Perfect description for my summer days ahead.PIXIEGood ole staple. It comes around every decade or so. A short cropped haircut Twiggy made iconic in the '70s. Then, Demi Moore wore it well for the famous movie "Ghost" about 20 years later. Extremely fun! Wear with confidence is all that is required.BANGSBangs of every shape and style. The length of hair does not matter. Most haircuts are now showcasing some form of bangs... Blunt, curtain, spiky, or baby bangs. So fun! I LOVE cutting in bangs.Hope this newsletter inspires some form of change in you for the spring and summer months.
