Fall Y’All

Wow!  It's been two months since I have written a blog or sent out a newsletter...

I have been more than busy and I'm sure summer went by fast for all of you as well.

We recently returned from the Windy City of Chicago.   The husband had a family wedding there, and I stayed home for work, but joined him a few days later to celebrate my birthday.

Before heading out, we had a new roof and gutters installed on our house shortly after lifting the house, installing 19 helicals, stabilizing, and leveling our old gal that was built in 1912. She is solid now!

Today, we start the demo of the entire outside, prepping for new windows, doors, siding, and paint! I am extremely excited for the finished product, but a tad stressed over the timeline and most of all NOISE.

The next two weeks will transform our craftsman home into its intended old-time charm, and then we will start the inside!

Stay tuned!

During my trip to Chicago, I caught a horrible head cold!  The plane ride returning was pretty painful, major pressure in my head made me want to scream out like a newborn baby ... ( don't worry, I held it together for the sake of those around me)

I rarely get sick and can count on one hand how many times in 36 years I've had to cancel clients, so I thank all of you who were so gracious when I needed to move your hair appointment!  I really dislike disappointing my guests, but of course, I knew I couldn't give the best quality service when I felt like I did... so thank you for understanding, and I am on the mend!  WOooooo HOoooo!

This being said... We are looking down the barrel of the Holidays!  My husband observed the "crazy" smile I had on my face when walking through Costco and seeing all the Halloween decor mixed in with Christmas!   OOOOHHHH how I love the holidays!

If you need an appointment, please book asap as I am booking up for the end of the year.  My calendar is up to date.

One last thing that I feel is important for me to briefly address...  let us all remember that all of us are fighting a battle inside ourselves that most do not know about...  I am so sad, like most of you, thinking and hearing about all the polarization going on in our own country.  I am trying my best to limit my use of social media and TV.  I am really enjoying seeing my loved ones face-to-face instead.  If you need me, please pick up the phone or text!

I'll keep this newsletter brief this time, as a General Contractor is knocking on my door as I speak... wish me luck!

Much Love is sent to you from me... always.  I hope and pray that each of you has a wonderful Fall Season! xoxo
